Animation and what it is ? for the enthusiasts - in a much broader sense.

Animation can best be described as a content creation technique in absolute terms - to cite an example - Lion King or Shrek.
But animation, I feel, is a 100 per cent creative medium. Scalability here depends on the width of the talent base we can create.  This talent must have an international class MCD (minimum-acceptable common denominator) level of performance that allows them to create a variety of creative outcome, depending on the demands of the project and the director.

This means identifying and evaluating the mass of talent to find a large enough contingent with such minimum qualifications. These requires one to set and measure animators across different processes in the animation production chain.Once that measure is in place, talent must ‘pass muster’ (from a quality and productivity standpoint) based on a sample of tests that mirror work that is being produced and aired today.
